The SQUAD — Remote Music Production for Artists, Labels & Productions

Real players. Real rooms. Real takes.
Forty countries. A network of producers. One system that makes real musicians a default, not a luxury.

Real players. Real rooms. Real takes.
Forty countries. A network of producers. One system that makes real musicians a default, not a luxury.
The SQUAD is a remote music production network: a production label that outsources recording, artistic direction, production, mixing and mastering to specialists across 40+ countries. Every project gets an artistic director and an executive producer who steer it end to end, you stay in control at every step. We work with artists, labels and production companies who want real musicians, real rooms and real takes without the studio overhead.
ORIGIN
The SQUAD wasn't a business plan. It was a reflex.
When the world locked down in 2020, every studio went dark. Sessions got cancelled, deadlines slipped, and the gap between the music in someone's head and the record on the shelf got wider by the day. So we built a way around it, a system that let producers in different cities, different time zones, different continents keep working on the same project as if they were in the same room.
We started with a handful of trusted people. Pro Tools on every desk, shared clouds between us, a common way of passing tracks back and forth so nothing got lost in translation. It worked. Then it kept working. And somewhere along the way, what started as a lifeline became the way we make records.
The SQUAD has been running for six years now. It's not a pandemic workaround anymore. It's the system.
How It Works ?
One craft each.
Each producer specializes in one thing. Strings. Brass. Vocals. Keys. Pianos. Drums. Arrangement. Writing. Mixing. Mastering. Not two things, not a bit of everything — one domain, mastered end to end. When your project needs a string quartet, you don't get a generalist who also does strings. You get the person whose entire craft is strings.
The work moves. The craft stays.
They work with the musicians they trust, in the rooms they know, on the schedule that fits the project. And because the whole network shares the same backbone, sessions can move between specialists without friction.
Forty-plus countries. One way of working.
We steer. You decide.
On top of every project sits an artistic director and an executive producer — that's us. We dispatch the right specialists to the right sessions, follow the production end to end, and bring you in at every step. You validate the arrangement before it's recorded. You validate the take before it's mixed. You validate the mix before it's mastered. The system is built for you to stay in control without having to be in every room.
PRODUCTION TEAM
Every producer in the SQUAD runs Pro Tools. Every session lives on shared clouds. Every file moves through the same IT system, the same folder structure, the same naming conventions. That sounds technical, but what it means is simple: when a project goes from a string arranger in Lisbon to a mixing engineer in Tokyo, nobody has to translate anything. The work just flows.

What You Get
A TEAM
When you work with ColorWorld through the SQUAD, you don't get handed off to a producer and left to figure out the rest.
You get a team and you get a lead.
Executive Producer
Every project comes with an artistic director and an executive producer. They're your constant. They follow the production from the first conversation to the final master, handle the scheduling, coordinate the specialists, and keep the artistic vision on track. You talk to them. They handle the rest.
ARTIST VALIDATION
Here's the part that matters: you stay in control. Artist validation happens at every step. You hear the strings before the brass gets layered on. You hear the vocal take before the mix begins. Nothing moves forward without your say-so.
options and flexibility
And the direction can come from either side. If you have a clear brief, we follow it. If you want us to propose an arrangement, a production direction, a creative path you hadn't considered — that's what we do. The artistic director and executive producer can lead the creative, or they can execute yours. Both work.

A Different Cost Structure Without Cutting Corners
Here's the honest part. Traditional studio production is expensive because the structure is expensive. You book a room, you book the musicians, you book the engineer, and every day that runs over is another day on the clock. One project at a time, one studio at a time, one bill at a time.
The SQUAD works differently. Because the network runs across forty-plus countries, we mutualize production costs across multiple projects. Producers share work days so we can see the full picture — monthly, quarterly — and optimize how time gets allocated. That reduces the initial investment significantly. A fraction of what a traditional studio setup requires, without cutting a single corner on the things that actually matter.
Real musicians. Real instruments. Real studios. Real takes, played by people who care about the craft, in rooms that sound right, captured the way it's supposed to be captured. What changes isn't the quality — it's the cost structure behind it.
You're not paying for overhead. You're paying for the work.
